In 2022 THE MORAVIAN-SILESIAN REGION FINANCIALLY SUPPORTED "ŽMMS" (Moravian-Silesian Railway Museum)
Within the scope of project called: "Increasing the attractiveness of the Railway Museum" we received financial grant from the Moravian - Silesian region. Thanks to this financial grant we invested in artifacts additions and model railways. Those funds have been used to create digital ticket sales and repair the steam locomotive 310.001. We were also able to organize the event called "FINE SUMMER - DAY WITH SLOVAK BULLET TRAIN", which was really interesting for our visitors. We very much appreciate support of the Moravian-Silesian region.
FAJNE LÉTO 2022 in the Moravian-Silesian Railway Museum
Those who visited on Saturday 20.8. 2022 railway station Ostrava střed and the event “FAJNE LÉTO 2022” in the Moravian-Silesian Railway Museum really did not get bored. Entertainment mainly for children, as well as interesting things to see together with the technical unique - the Slovak Bullet Train, attracted many visitors. Photos of these satisfied visitors are available to view at the website gallery on the section of Fajne léto. Small afternoon showers did not deter hundreds of visitors, who patiently watched the departure of Slovak Bullet Train a to its home depot in Kopřivnice even after 6 p.m. We rate this year's event as the best and as the highlight of all "Fajne léto" days organized so far in our museum.
