Introducing the Sphere Loyalty Program

We would like to point out to all card holders of the Sphere Loyalty Program or the Carte Cards that they can use the discounted entry at our museum. It means - when two or more visitors arrive at the museum, the admission for one person will be free of charge upon presenting this card!

Gift cards

The gift voucher is for sale to the public as a ticket that is portable. The value of the voucher is 80, - CZK and will be available to buy at the ticket office of the museum. The sale is possible by correspondence, namely by paying the amount to the account or exceptionally by cash on delivery. Correspondence sale is provided by the museum's office. The evidence of tickets is managed only through the museum box office. The number of vouchers for sale is not limited. Quantity discount is not available. The tickets are time limited. Vouchers in this value include full entrance to the museum, including a trainer. One voucher applies to one person who pays the admission at any standard entry fee.

The Cyclope Book Publication

The T 499.0 Cyclope Book Publication is available for a sale in the Moravian-Silesian Museum since Saturday 6th June 2015. This book describes the history of development, production and operation of the T499.0 series. It is a monography of our the most powerful and fastest engine locomotive. The fans will be pleased with the large number of historical photographs and information from the operation, testing and repair of this unique locomotive.

The book is available directly at the museum in the railway station Ostrava center or, exceptionally, while a nostalgic ride on June 6^th, 2015 called "With Kyklop in the Beskydy through the Jablunkov tunnel" for 1090 CZK.
